Fashion Week season has officially begun and here I go again, buried in a mountain of clothes, far away from seeing how they will all fit in a suitcase. I mean 3 suitcases. Or more.
This time though I got help from my dear friend, Silvia Stefanini, who styled the great outfits which of course, I can’t wait to share with you.
An army of #feericdesigners sent the items from all over the world and like always in this period I spent most of my time talking to couriers and unpacking.
But, there is something that makes this season more interesting in terms of outfits I will wear… Something I will do for the first time ever since I started travelling and have been a part of this phenomenon. I will re-use some of the most iconic pieces that were featured in the most important fashion magazines worldwide.
Through this I want to make a statement in saying that an item should never die because you can style it in different ways and make it look spectacular nonetheless. I would like to challenge more people to do so, for a more sustainable fashion environment. Even if I may repeat myself, I encourage you to consume less, pollute less.
In order to prove my point, I will show you pictures with one item I want to wear even when I will be 80 years old.
It is a 10-euro skirt that just refuses to die. And I refuse to let it die. After I will reach 100 different styles with it, I’ll make it into a pillow and get to see it every day, remembering its golden moments.
I leave you to enjoy the images and hope I stirred your imagination to recreate your own outfits. Now back to packing & counting the hours till touchdown. Great week to you all and fashion week to me!
