You know how after each trip I start my articles with “oh, I just fell in love with this place, wanna move here forever, wanna have a home here” and so on.
And then there is me… in a cab on my way to the airport in Malta, headed to Bucharest, looking for how much rent is and how many flight destinations they have. Let me tell you the story from the beginning.
Our dear #feericdesigners Charles & Ron are coming from Malta, and for 6 years now they bring this joy to Feeric… first with their great personalities and second through their collection. Literally. Fell in love with the Maltese details after seeing them on the fabric. I just knew that sooner or later I would have to visit this beautiful island.
And by beautiful I mean “how is it that I had not seen this magical place before and can I please stay here forever?” So much beauty around at each step of the way.
If you ever pass by in Malta I recommend Su29 Boutique Hotel… it has one of the views that left me speechless. And I always have my words with me.
Took with me Bianca Popp, Traces of Heels, Dandry Shoes, Charles & Ron and Furla. And surprise surprise, my dear Argentinian friend Eduardo Ocantos was there for Malta Fashion Week so it was perfect timing for a #feericteam reunion. And with so many beautiful outfits we even managed to do an editorial on our last day. With the best Maltese photographer Mattehew Spiteri. And you would never guess who did my makeup. The one and only Jennifer Dimech, she was part of our #feericteam as a makeup artist last year. So how small is this world?
I am telling you. It can get even smaller. As part of our great company was also Adrian Grech, I told you about him on my visit in Dubai, where him and his wife Andreea (coming from my hometown Sibiu) took real good care of us and revealed the unseen parts of Dubai. Same here because luck for us he moved back to Malta. And take my word for it when I say the best thing in a trip is to be in the hands of a local. The only way to see more than the touristic places and live the experience to its fullest. So the world can be this small.
I will come back with more stories, but meanwhile I will leave you here with my photographs… maybe the most magical ones I ever did. And if you want to see more, which I know you want, go check my Insta Story highlight Malta. Once you do so, it will only take you 2 minutes to book a flight. I’ll be here making you a list with tips & tricks in order to have one of your best vacations. Enjoy!
